TickTracker

TickTracker is a mobile app for tracking ticks and the spread of Lyme and other vector-borne diseases. It combines open data from the CDC and other government sources with results from universities and labs that test ticks, and lets anyone report a sighting or a bite, which is added to the global data set for everyone else to see.

I designed the product from brand through interface: the mark, the map-first experience, reporting flows that take seconds outdoors, and the visual system for iOS and Android. The app was selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce for The Opportunity Project's Future of Healthcare showcase, where it was presented alongside Microsoft at the White House and at Commerce headquarters in Washington, D.C.
