Stryker · GetAroundKnee app
An App Store iPad app that explained a dual-radius knee to patients, timed to a national TV campaign.
Stryker's GetAroundKnee replaced the single-radius design of a conventional knee implant with a dual-radius one, a difference that is hard to feel from a brochure. The app made it tangible: patients could compare how each design moves, and physicians and surgeons could use the same screens as an education aid for patients and caregivers before surgery.
It launched alongside a large national broadcast and digital campaign, and was search-optimised so that viewers browsing on a second screen while the spot aired would find it first. A publicly available App Store app, built to answer the question the advertising raised.
