CM1000 Sales Tool

Colfax Fluid Handling had a new pump technology that cut operating costs for ship owners and operators by exploiting changes in seawater temperature along a route. The benefit was real but abstract, so the sales tool was built around interactive storytelling rather than a spec sheet.

Users configure their vessel, choose the routes it sails, and watch the calculator pull live NOAA data into a simulation of fuel use, greenhouse gases saved and total cost of ownership over one, five and ten years. Video, interactive, a CMS, the NOAA feed and analytics were combined into one user-configurable experience that a rep could run on a laptop or leave with a customer.
